Clothes Swap - The best way to clean out and replenish your closet!

clothes-swap-social.png

If you've never been to a clothes swap, you are missing out on a great chance to be eco-friendly AND pick up some new-to-you items for your wardrobe.

Here's how it works:

  1. Clean out your closet to get rid of items that you no longer love, that no longer fit or that you've really never worn.
  2. Come to Manifold on Saturday May 23, 2015 with your bag of clothes and $5.
  3. Spend a couple hours browsing the other cast-offs and take home some new attire!

It's a fun way to "shop" without having to part with your hard-earned cash for each item. There's no limit to how much you can take home but really, it's not about being a clothes hog. It's just about finding new homes for items that still have life in them yet!

Bring your friends, meet new ones and enjoy swapping in a fantastic space. Believe me, it's much more exciting than just dropping off your old clothes to the op-shop. You can try styles you might not normally buy and you can take pieces home to upcycle in crafty ways. Or you could get them altered to fit you perfectly.

When: Saturday 23 May 2015 11am-3pm

Where: Manifold 21 Devon Street West (Upstairs)

Admission: $5 and a bag of clothes to swap!

Items should be clean and in good condition. Clothes from all seasons is ok, but please leave the used lingerie and socks at home. You are welcome to bring accessories or toiletries too but the main focus is clothing. It's open to women, men and children of all ages and sizes. All of the extras left at the end will be donated to a worthy organisation.

Don't forget to bring an empty bag or two to take home your new finds!

Join us and share the event with your friends - the more the merrier!
