A look at how technology is shaping the future of advertising
Join us on Friday, 9th of October for what's sure to be an evening of insight and inspiration as we are joined by the uber-talented Terry Williams-Willcock, Digital Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi. Terry's talk, titled Digital Redefines Advertising, will open our eyes to different consumer behaviours, different types of digital campaigns and how advertising is not just an ad agency game but a technology company game.
After being spotted by Arawak Interactive Marketing at London’s D&AD exhibition back in 1997 Terry began to establish himself as one of the top interactive designers in the UK. Terry has been involved with developing interactive solutions for a number of leading UK companies and advertising agencies: working directly with Sony Europe, Microsoft and BP as well as Saatchi’s, TBWA, BBH and Craik Jones on large scale website and digital marketing solutions.
Terry joined the New Zealand Clemenger network in 2004 and built up a strong digital team for ProximityNZ Wellington. He spearheaded the digital offering on a number of innovative and challenging campaigns for clients such as TePapa, Telecom, TVNZ, Toyota, IAG, Vodafone, and NZ Post.
Terry then made the move up to Auckland in 2011 to Digitally Creative Direct the ProximityNZ company and quickly helped unify Colenso and ProximityNZ on a number of award winning campaigns like Westpac ImpulseSaver, BNZ begoodwithmoney, EmotionScan and MeatPackHunt.
Terry has now joined Saatchi and Saatchi to help drive innovative solutions and thinking driving a culture for creating magical and valuable experiences that could involve and enhance people’s lives.
